a land away
a sea of open dreams,

fly along
senses teased
but nothings as it seems,

dreams are lies
through lovers eyes
that tell us of our faults

through thick and thin
thought and will
sensibilities great assault,

take me fairly
land may brace me
but clouds under my feet,

lover gone
breath relaxed
then my sheets do they meet,

fair in dreams
but not in world
for this is the balance of life,

if all were happy
then none would want
and there would be no one left to fight.
