Life in Mind with the Devil at Hand...
So i've been working hard at the ranch and texaco over the last long while... and my dreams out here have been the most vivid ever in my life...
i just woke up from one with a start and had to come tell someone online, but no one was online so i'll tell everyone who reads this...
there i was, just being a camp counselor and stuff... working my last shift at the ranch then driving back to michigan with all my money and my few possessions... i got back to michigan in mere hours instead of a full day and a half of driving but whatever... and when i got back i had no sooner moved into my apartment in mount pleasant than one of my friends from down state dies... it doesnt even matter who... and right after they die, our state is just COVERED in snow (maybe a metaphor for the icynes in my heart of them dieing, who knowS)anyways, i debated attending the funeral, but while i was there i sat at the back away from everyone and thought to myself... i would sell my soul to the devil to bring this person back... and then POOF i was driving along a long winding road, smoking cigarettes, pain free and i passed a singular man on the road, i turned around and picked him up... there sat satan, the father of lies, in my front seat as i drove slowly away and he asked "well then, r u sure u want to do this? how about knowing what life will be like if i bring them back?", i agree and he blasts me into the future, where i see this person moving through life, alive and happy and living a good life, but i never see them in my life then anyhow... i came back and told satan i needed time to think and was blasted back into my seat at the funeral, at the wake i avoided people but heard that this person had died from a rediculously stupid bronchial thing that brought on an asthma attack... and i woke up when i was sitting back in ym apartment stoned... debating whether to make a deal with satan...
