a year in retrospect...
These are the first lines from one journal entry per month for the last year... seeing as how this is the first year i REALLY skipped months in my journal it is kind of sparce....
"well i can officaly say that no matter what my brother does from now on i am the black sheep. its not a great feeling...."
(this is when daddy found out that i smoke marijuana)
"i find it really weird that people actually delete shit out of their livejournals."
(this is when i noticed a third of my friends had deleted their livejournal accounts)
"ladies and gentlemen, if u kindly direct ur attention to one year ago, i took a vow of celibacy, and as of today, it has been 1 year since i have engaged in physical sexual contact with any human being but myself."

"at least she told me online so i could hide the shocked look of disbelief on my face and choke out all the things ur supposed to say when someone tells u theyre getting married."
(ahh lisa, my good friend, she must be married by now, but i havent talked to her since she told me about the engagement)
"so i moved to utah"
(this is when i... moved to utah unexpectedly)
"Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain..."
(my first rain storm in utah and my first day at peace with myself here)
"i, drew fry, announce my intentions to run for the office of president of the united states, in the 2008 election."
(when i realized what i needed to do to make real change and progress for my chosen movement^)
"four years spent wanting my sweet lover back."
(this isnt the first line, but it is the last line of my last real entry)
I have pretty much stopped updateing this, but i intend to start again for the new year...
my last year has been filled with alot of moving around and no stability, at least for the last 6 months, while i've been in utah,i've been on the SAME couch every night
i miss michigan dearly, all my friends and even my family there. i cannot wait till i return, but right now, im living with my mommy whom i love and i'm working 2 wonderful jobs that help people in different ways and allow me to meet a whole big HOST of exciting characters... im sur ewhen i hit michigan again in 6 months ish i will share many stories....
