I'm Still Alive, I Can't Apologize
Finally, a post that's both for music lovers as well as gamers! Two weeks ago, I picked up Mirror's Edge, a game that can be best described as a first-person parkour (free-running) game. Whereas most first-person games are shooters these days, this game puts you in the shoes of a girl who is running and jumping across rooftops and down elevator shafts (and throws in a bit of martial arts takedowns). While the game isn't perfect, its a good bit of fun and I definitely encourage people to try it.
Now for the music fans, the song "Still Alive" from the game's end credits is awesome. Not to be confused with Portal's "Still Alive", this song is by a Swedish artist named Lisa Miskovski. I've included a YouTube video below that features the song over clips of the game.
And yes, herballistic, according to iTunes there are already a bunch of remixes of this song, including one by Paul van Dyke.
