First of all, Happy New Year to all!
I am spending this New Year as I have for the past several years, in my room, alone, just me, the tv and my computer. Who needs anything else?
Okay, reason for posting is to do the meme Carole nicked from Natalie....
You know how sometimes people on your flist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

First name:
Technically, Terri Lynn. My middle name is Elizabeth. I have never used my full first name. I wanted in the worst way to change Terri to something else when I was little. Then my mom told me where I got my name. My great Uncle Bob gave me the name Terri and Lynn was after my Godmother. So, no changing it. Though I still am not that fond of it.
Age:
Unlike Carole, I will say I am 45. I figure it is better to give my age because when I say I am a grandmother of 8, people tend to think I am much older. hehehe
Location:
Okay, let's just say, Northeastern Pennsylvania in the USA. Internet safety must be considered.
Occupation:
My job title is Ancillary Services Representative. Basically, I am a return mail specialist. I spend all day trying to find current addresses for mail we have returned to us from various Medicare Part D clients. You would not believe the amount of elderly people who don't change their address when they move.
Partner:
Sirius Black...though at times Emmett Cullen... Seriously though, I am single as I have been for way too many years. At least with my fictional boyfriends, I don't have to put up with shit from them.
However, they don't keep you warm during the cold winter nights and can't just hold you when life gets to be too much.
Kids:
3: boy 28, boy 27, girl 24... * grandchildren, 2 girls - 7 {yes, my boys each have a girl and they are only 12 days apart}, girl -6, boy -5, girl-4, girl -2, boy 2, boy -7 months. Oldest son, Jayson has one girl, 7. Justin has 3, girls 7 and 2 and boy 7months, and Amanda has the rest, girl 6, boy 5, girl 4, boy 2. Sheez, that took a lot of thinking. heheehe
Brothers/Sisters:
Brother, 2 years younger; sister, 3 years younger; sister, 7 years younger. I live with my youngest sister and her 3 boys, 16, 14, 10. That is why I stay in my room all the time. LOL
Pets:
Okay, there are 10 cats in the house: Bodah and Lennon: male and female respectively, they were my oldest son's and when he moved to North Carolina left them with us "temporarily". That was 5 years ago. Then there is Baby. She was a stray who was born under our kitchen window. Fed her and she stayed. She is the mother of the rest: Moony, he was the first kitten she had. Then she had Padfoot {who is solid black} and Prongs {who is a female but has a lightening shaped white strip down her forehead}. She had 2 other kittens in that batch but my daughter took them. A few months ago, she had another litter of 4, 1 is solid black female that I named, Tonks, the others are gray and black striped like Baby and my nephew Noah named them, I think. All I know is one of them is Booger Junior. Don't ask. LOL So, felines outnumber humans 2 to 1 in this house.

1: Justin: He is having surgery on the 7th. So, once again, he is taking top priority in my life.
2. Trip to England in June. Need to start doing major overtime and saving money.
3. MNFF: This is so important in my life. I am still adjusting to life as an admin. I am loving every minute of it.
Parents:
My mom died in 96. I still miss her every day and New Year's eve is one of the hardest. I still, even after all these years, wait for her to call at midnight... My dad, I haven't seen in years. Long story that began with parents divorcing and life going on...
Who are some of your closest friends?
I have friends at work, but they are really just work friends. My closest friends are online and are people I have never even met in person. Though the planned trip to England is to correct that. I am not going to list names, they {should} know who they are. I do love you guys, so much...
