Quite by surprise, I ran into mikiedoggie at $1 Burger Night last night. In fact, I had already eaten (badly) elsewhere and was feeling antisocial, so I wouldn't have stopped in at all if I hadn't gazed in the window and seen him partying like a frat boy on spring break. He told me I don't post enough on LiveJournal, which is something I can't remember anyone

Have I failed to make you aware of this already? I must be a terrible neighbour. So be it known: Every Monday night at Big Chicks, $1 quarter-pound burgers with a choice of salad (mesclun mix, not some nasty iceberg!) or fries. Best deal in the 'hood! As with a traditional free lunch, you're supposed to subsidise your food order with a drink, but it's not like anyone ever checks.

Let me know if you're ever free and willing to rub shoulders with a bunch of campy lushes in order to enjoy your bargain burgers. Or, if you prefer less of a madhouse atmosphere, Tuesdays are good; the food is worth paying full price for, after all.
