Quite by surprise, I ran into
mikiedoggie at $1 Burger Night last night. In fact, I had already eaten (badly) elsewhere and was feeling antisocial, so I wouldn't have stopped in at all if I hadn't gazed in the window and seen him partying like a frat boy on spring break. He told me I don't post enough on LiveJournal, which is something I can't remember anyone else ever saying to me before. I asked what he wanted to see and said "weird linguistic facts, stuff on foreign cultures". Well, I'll see what I can come up with. In the meantime, I hope everything went well for him, um, "doing his laundry" last night.
I was looking forward to today because we had a predicted a high in the 50s. Unfortunately, no one told me that it would be accompanied by blustery winds that would make it just as uncomfortable outside as it's been the last few days. At least the jonquils in the sunken garden at work seem no worse for Friday's snowstorm. In addition, I've spotted my first weeds of the year! Anyone care for some dandelion greens? (I'd happily send them to you, Ed, if I thought they'd survive the trip!)
