Last night's craptacular sleep resulted from a nasty combination of biological factors (cramps so bad I had to break out the heating pad on one of the warmest nights we've had in recent weeks) and bad dreams. There's a piece of mythology about dreaming that suggests we cannot die in our dreams, our brains won't allow it.
