I have to record the wonderful dinner experience I just had.
Location: Starling Diner
Company: "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell"
Music playing in background of restaurant: Frou Frou/Imogen Heap cd's on repeat
Beverage:
cucumber infused water
fresh brewed coffee
Foodage:
portabella mushroom and herbed feta cheese bruschetta
butternut squash soup
chicken fuji salad sandwich (with a nice kick due to the gorgonzola cheese)
Dutch apple crisp with whipped cream and strawberries on top
I had to take half the sandwich and soup home, due to extreme stuffage. I even got book recommendations from my waiter!!!
So yes. Sitting alone and reading for 2 and a half hours at a wonderful diner = happiness. Now I'm back at the Library, and have just downloaded some M.I.A.
It's looking like I'll meet up with Dave(potential roomie) and his girlfriend Jess at some point tonight after they get done with a photographer/model meet/greet shindig.
