Who: Kohaku and his class
When: Friday afternoon
Where: Anth & Cult building, room 103
What: First class of Oriental Magic.
Rating: PG-13 (we're hoping XD).

Kohaku stood in front of the chalkboard at the front of the lecture room, still and stoic, his deceivingly young face blank of all emotion. Quite frankly, he wasn't sure what to expect. He of course had experience in disciplining underlings from his time spent serving under Yubaba in the Aburaya, but as the Dimension Witch had pointed out to him upon his arrival, teaching was hardly the same thing as managing, or being an assistant. And the students, or what he'd met of them so far, seemed . . . interesting, to say the least. They weren't like any mortals he'd met before, that was for sure--or at least, most of them weren't. Not that he had all that much personal experience with mortals aside from Chihiro, but still, he was a little excited despite himself.

Chihiro. Kohaku let a small smile cross his face. He honestly hadn't expected her to remember; humans rarely did, or were allowed to. But she had. She remembered him, and the others from the bath house. It made him very happy, and he'd been a little surprised by the emotion, despite having felt it before. She'd grown a lot since her adventure in the spirit world, and the kami would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't eager to see her in person. But that would have to wait, at least for a little while. If he wanted to maintain his position as a professor on Yuuko's campus, he had to uphold his duties, and that meant treating Chihiro with no favoritism, the same as all his other students. The Dimension Witch was far more relaxed than most beings with her power, but she was very serious about the details of her contracts--that was quite possibly the only thing she and Yubaba had in common.

In any case, there was no way to see how events would unfold until they did so. He wasn't expecting a particuarly large class, so hopefully the lesson would go swiftly. Chasing the smile away, Kohaku waited expectantly at the head of the class, waiting for his students to arrive.
