It was raining again, which meant that Hakkai needed to keep himself busy. He'd realized when this storm began that sitting around in his room would only cause problems. Despite his past he didn't want to mope around. As a result, he'd headed off alone through the tunnels to visit the library. Hakkai had been there a few times before, once or twice for the same reason he was going today. He figured he might as well make the best of his time here, and what better way than to learn more of the Japanese language? Hakkai's knowledge in that area was a bit sketchy. Hopefully by the time he returned home he'd be basically fluent.
The tunnels were cold and slightly damp. Hakkai shivered as he walked along, glad that he was capable of producing light. While he could see without it, using his chi made the entire thing more comfortable. Hakkai had never minded the caves, and it blocked out the sound of the rain, but it never hurt to have a little extra light.
