What: Riku-chan and Linali let their kittens meet and play, and probably girl-talk

Instead of walking outside to the door from the hallway, Riku simply moved through the bathroom with Snow in one of her her hands and a warmed bag of popcorn in her other. She used her popcorn-bag-elbow to knock of the door connecting to Linali's room.

"Hey, Linali!! I'm in the bathroom. Want to let us in?"

Snow huddled into Riku's arm when her voice raised and the girl looked down then cooed to the kitten. "Awwe...Snow, it's ok. We're gonna meet Yun-qi today. Don't be afraid."

With a smile, Linali rose to her feet and opened the door for her friend. Yun-qi, curious as always, was at her heels. "Hello Riku-chan. Ara! That must be Snow!" She reached out a hand slowly and carefully and murmured softly, "Nice to meet you, little one."

Riku greeted her with a smile and nodded. "Hi Linali! Yeah, this is Snow."

The kitten blinked and winced as the approaching appedage came closer, but when it was apparent that it was going to stop before it touched her, she craned her neck and sniffed it. Venturing a little braver, she licked Linali's fingertip gently before Riku grinned and put the kitten down next to the black one.

"And this is little Yun-qi? He's adorable!"

Linali smiled happily as the two kittens sniffed at each other so that it looked like they were about to kiss. "Yes, this is my Yun-qi." She crouched down and scratched him behind the ears, muttering endearments in Chinese.

She stood up as Yun-qi walked back up to his toy and mewled at Linali, wanting her to shake it again. "I think they like each other, don't you?"

Riku nodded, laughing slightly. "Yeah, I think they do like each other." She followed Linali into the room and closed the door after her, plopping down on Linali's bed. She put the popcorn down and watched as Snow tried to be brave and venture into the room after Yun-qi.

"Heh, she's really shy. She'll warm up to Yun-qi after a little bit." Riku said with a smile, watching Snow sit down by her feet and give a tiny, high mewing sound.

Picking up the stick, Linali sat down beside Riku and started shaking the toy at Yun-qi, who batted at it happily. "I'm glad; I was afraid Yun-qi would be too much if she's really timid." She cooed encouragements at Yun-qi in Chinese, shaking the toy a little higher and giggling as he sat up on his back paws to reach.

"She is really shy." Linali rose from her seat and retrieved a bowl and a small carton of milk from her fridge. "I'm going to give Yun-qi some milk. Think Snow would like some?"

Pulling open the bag of popcorn, she let the smell and the steam elevate through the room. She watched Yun-qi with a giggle but laughed even harder when Snow lifted up to try and bat at the toy and ended up toppling over Yun-qi in the process.

"Want some popcorn?" She asked Linali, handing the girl the bag before she searched through her room for the remote. "Where's your TV remote?"

Linali searched nearby her bed before handing Riku the remote. "Here you go." After setting down the milk for the kittens who mewled happily and started to lap it up in earnest, Linali accepted the bag of popcorn and sat back down. As Riku flipped through the channels, Linali watched the kittens carefully, smiling at their adorable-ness.

"So... what have you been up to since that weird animal virus thing went around? I haven't hardly seen anyone!"

Riku yawned gently, flipping through the channels with more speed than she ususally did. Nothing seemed to catch her eye, but she did enjoy background noise. She settled for some staged sitcom, turning the volume down so that they could talk more freely.

She craned her neck to check on the kittens, smiling again as Snow slowly ventured up beside Yun-qi and hesitantly started to lap at the bowl of milk. She peeked out of the corner of her eyes at the other kitten and then looked back down at the milk as she continued to drink.

"Me? Well, I've been running a lot...I've also met Roxas and Sakura and he's teaching me to skateboard. You should come too! You might like it. What about you?"

Linali watched as Yun-qi paused in his drinking to look over at Snow, almost as though he wanted to have a conversation with her. He took a few more laps of milk before sitting down and allowing Snow to finish the last bit as he looked on. Linali smiled softly and looked back up at Riku.

"Skateboard?" She tilted her head quizzically. "I've never heard of it. And I haven't met Roxas or Sakura before. Maybe next time you guys get together I'll join in." Making new friends was always a good thing in Linali's book. "I've just been around mostly. I activated my Boots for the first time in forever; I'm getting rusty!"

Snow noticed a lack of movement around the bowl and looked up to see that Yun-qi had stopped drinking. She looked down again and finished off the milk before the kitten swished her tail once. Snow peeked back up at Yun-qi and ventured over to his side. She seemed to trust him more now that he was being nice to her (not that he wasn't earlier, just Snow was weird when it came to meeting and liking anyone or anything). Snow even went so far as to lean out and lick Yun-qi on the cheek once as a thank you for letting her finish the milk

Linali cooed happily when Snow licked Yun-qi. "She really is! This is so adorable." She retrieved Yun-qi's ball and rolled it towards him. Bells rattling, Yun-qi pounced on the ball and smacked it around a little before rolling it towards Snow expectantly.

"We definitely should! And Yun-qi has finally stopped trying to scratch up everything in sight so we could leave the bathroom door open and let them have the run of the suite!" Linali smiled.

Confused, Linali tilted her head to the side. "I'm not sure I understand, but I guess I'll see for myself when I go." She winked at Riku.

"Well, if you want, we can take a walk down to the beach later and I can show you first hand."

Riku grinned, watching as Snow looked at the bell-ball and easily pounced on it. However, she overshot the distance and ended up toppling into Yun-qi gently. She mewed up at her new friend, reaching up to paw gently at his leg.

Riku couldn't help but smile as she turned back to look at Linali with a grin. "Yeah! That sounds like a great plan! Then they won't get restless in one room and can run around and play in both. That's perfect. Good idea, Linali!"

"You should definitely see for yourself. It's really fun and I'll let you know whenever we meet again to practice."

"Um...Sure, that'd be great! I'm really curious." She nodded to her friend, a smile still on her face. "We should probably go sometime before it gets dark but we still have a little while until that happens."

Yun-qi nudged Snow up with his head before going towards the bell ball. He picked it up daintily and walked back to Snow, depositing the toy at her feet with a quick squeak. Linali laughed at him. "You're so gallant!"

"Then that's just what we'll do." Linali smiled back, glad to please her friend. "As for skateboarding, just another new experience, right?"

"Sure thing. I'm sure Yun-qi would love to get outside. And I've been told that sea air is good for you." Linali shrugged. "I'm not sure why though. Physicians back home constantly sent sick people to the seaside, saying it would help."

And Snow seemed very thankful for all the help. She leaned in and licked his cheek again before she batted the bell ball between her paws. Once she had gotten a hang on what she was doing, she batted it over at Yun-qi so they could play together with the ball.

Riku just smiled. She couldn't help the small "Awwwe" that came from her when she saw Yun-qi acting so sweetly. "He's adorable, Linali!" She, in turn, nodded about her last skateboarding comment.

"Snow needs some outside time too. I don't know if she's ever been to the ocean, so it'll be a nice change for her." She said with a smile, an excitement building in at the idea of getting to see Linali's mysterious boots in action.

Linali could tell that Yun-qi was being very careful in playing with Snow; she had never seen her boisterous kitten be so gentle! Yun-qi stopped the ball with his paw before rolling over and batting the ball upwards with his paws while lying on his back. Upside down, he looked to make sure Snow was watching.

"Yun-qi, you big show-off!" Linali lauged at his antics. "Thanks, Riku-chan. Snow is absolutely precious. I'm glad she and Yun-qi warmed up to each other so quickly!"

"Sure. Yun-qi loves it out there. One time though he accidentally fell into a hole and got covered up. I couldn't find him for the longest time!"
