Isolde and Jacquel - Museums
They meet every so often at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, these two beings who have seen kingdoms and empires rise and fall. The paintings and statues remind them of past friends, companions and loves, of experiences long past yet recalled with a certain fondness. But there's always the ridiculous informative cards next the exhibits: they can always mock the inaccuracies
Muraki and Aramat, glasses
He looks younger and frailer without his glasses, almost like another man. She likes him better without them, though he tells her, amused, that he's almost completely blind without them. Still, he takes them off before leaning down to kiss her.
Michelle and Jack
Some would say they each have half of a family each; Jack would be the first to admit that he feels closer to whole whenever he's around Michelle. Their daughters, despite the age difference of several crucial months, are like sisters rather than friends. Perhaps they are a whole family together, in spirit.
