Day 10 of 366: Realizing the Importance of Early Blogging

Jan 10, 2008 23:46

This is my tenth blog of 2008 and I find myself scurrying frantically each night to come up with topics to write about. My creative side comes out at night which explains why I do the majority of my creative work at this hour. But to actually put down words in a semi-meaningful way with less than hour until my self-imposed midnight comes along, is ( Read more... )

i'm def more of a facebook guy than myspace, although i have both. i've come to learn how tacky mypsace can become in the hands of the clueless. i much prefer facebook's simple layout...but they're also becoming a tad overboard with the applications.

i'll stick with livejournal :)

i used to write very regularly, usually the mundane and boring details of the goin-ons in my life. but i found myself quite bored reading my old entries...so i've reverted back to writing only when i want to remember. When I read old entries, and I don't even remember the things I'm talking about, then...it probably wasn't worth writing about :).

it's all quality over quantity...but that's just in my case, and excluding present company of course :)

to remain nameless, one of my pet peeves are the journals i come across randomly, who seem to post about what they ate for breakfast, and the biotch in accounting who's trying to ruin their career, and other various material that was undoubtedly put in the public domain to stroke their own ego (refer to my profile). of course i have the option of not reading them, but it serves as a constant reminder that i don't want to become like them, lol.

there are just way too many applications on facebook and my mailbox gets flooded everyday from people wanting me to join some group that probably wants to be in the guinness book of world records for the largest facebook group. the occassional poke is ok, but the ones that superpoke a couple of times everyday? uhh...

i am definitely regretting thinking that i can write everyday on here. i was happier when i only chimed in here and there.

when i was really bored, i used to go on random blogs on myspace and subscribe to them. not to read or follow theie lives, but to police them. you'd be surprised at how many plagiarists are out there claiming someone else's writing as their own. i'd google parts of their writings and find that they all belong to other people. sad.

wow, i was really bored!

someone actually stole some of my material. and when i confronted him, he had nothing to say.

at least give me credit here! writing doesn't come easy!

did he have nothing to say because he's used to stealing other's materials? haha
