ok. solo performers who go under their own name and work with other random musicians / friends vs. solo performers who work sometimes by themselves and sometime with musicians / friends but shelve it all under a "band" name?

in other news my "solo" project is playing on sunday night at the troubadour sometime around 11. i will be joined by Ian Rogers of Iron on fame on electric guitar and Lawrence English of Room 40 fame on the drum kit. thats right - All Electric (we're doing a bob dylan in reverse). expect new songs plus others from last years limited edition Room 40 release "Traffic" which none of you have ever heard....so, i guess expect all new songs!
