Im reading Dead Babies by Martin Amis at the moment. Makes me want to get fucked up a little or very least have more money - as is i just sit reading, smoking my Peter Stuyvesant's (now in 25 packs) and drink tea because ive never really believed in it's cafine content anyhow.
I realised today that i didn't quite get around to the ritualistic "fuck off" to 2005 that is New Years Resolutions. Seems to late now to make that list about how im going to be more happy and start jogging or something. Everyone does that. I ate vegetables that i cooked tonight so its all in the works anyhow. i have however, been considering a vegan diet. Humans are the only species that continues to drink milk after the stage of infancy anyhow. and it's fattening right, dairy. + i refuse to believe i could feel worse health wise. I'm not going to stop smoking but i may try to cut down on guilt and update my live journal more often. We're going to do mountains of work with the academy, read more, perform solo like i mean it, work a lot more heavily with Room 40 and DJ like its 1980...minus all the bad music. Income equalls Rent, Bills, Records, equipment, coffee and smokes. to hell with the rest of it.
Im playing in the all new I/O Expanded (English, Reigler, Patton, Thompson) with Damo Suzuki of 70's Can fame at the Zoo next month and i've decided that it's a big deal. I didn't get the chance to do such things before i moved here, so why not make the most of opportunity. Im also Supporting Blonde Cobra solo acoustic @ Ric's the night before and then opening for Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood with a mopre experimental sound performance at Bon Amici Cafe in Toowoomba the following week, just before they head off to New York....
Im sure i can make this year better. Im happier active.
