Vacation Makeover: Parsimonious's Vibrant Weekend Hideout
More pictures from Twikki-Tikki Island. (I swear there is a method to this madness. My BACC sims want to go on vacation!) This is a makeover of a super cute lot from Parsimonious called Vibrant Weekend Hideout. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it on their site anymore and don't have the original download in my game. :( But I didn't do anything too drastic to this one-just little rearrangements of the landscaping and interior fittings. So if you can find the lot anywhere online, download it! It's great!
UPDATE: I will try to get this uploaded in some form today-ish, since the original doesn't seem to be available anymore. It might be a terrible monster with a zillion extra recolors tagging along; it might be semi-unfurnished...? We'll see! Leave any preferences in the comments!
This will be a sort of cheapish vacation home. A location that's a little too close to the airfield and the fact that it has semi-indoor plumbing keep the price low for those who want to buy in to the island without spending a fortune.
The bright colors and slight quirkiness remind me of places you'd see in Key West.
The central courtyard, with grilling/dining area and a fireplace for the rare chilly nights. This is a very indoor-outdoor living space.

Speaking of indoor-outdoor, here's the bathing area and the outhouse.
There's a small living room in the yellow building, with a desk and a radio and a bookcase; but you'll probably spend most of your time living outside.
And a tiny second bedroom, perfect for kids or guests.
The yard comes complete with lemon, papaya, and coconut trees, plus a small garden plot for flowers or vegetables.
I've play-tested this lot for a few days, and it's so fun and cute! CAN'T WAIT TO SEND SIMS ON VACATION. OuO
