saturday stuff
yesterday did a bunch of hw.. and researching to find out what i should make for a model of an invention due on wed. still don't know and i need to buy materials for it today or tomorrow. for the record, he called me yesterday and apologized for leaving w/out saying goodbye, and said he really enjoyed going to the comedy club w/ me.
anyways, i was kinda tired so i layed down for a few hours.. but didn't get to sleep, dern it.
anna got back and we wanted to do something fun, so we went out around the town for a little bit. making sure we hit the most important aspects of ypsi. (total sarcasm) haha.
got back.. still didn't know what we were doing, some guy anna knew that she went on one date with knew of 2 parties, but she didn't wanna see him. so .. she kinda convinced me that we should go to canada. for the following reasons:
1. we haven't been since the first week of december (making that 3 months, whoa!)
2. all we have been doing this semester is working, homework, studying, & not going out very often
3. we studied like crazy for our sofd midterm this week, when it was canceled the day of. she said we deserve this to ourselves.
so we got ready, oh man.. and left the apt @ 9:45pm. i drove us in anna's car and we played the cd she made for the ride there. we got to the border and the customs line was ridiculous. i picked the wrong line w/ the guy that liked to play 20 (million) questions. we parked, and got to voodoo before 11pm so no cover! yay!
we noticed alot had changed they put up some sort of a screen thing, and there was a new dj that wasn't the greatest. but we still had fun, we requested a song which wasn't played till an hour later. it was crazy crowded, and we danced w/ these two cute canucks, they left to put jackets away. so we danced w/ some other guys that were sophmores from Central MI, crazy. they were fun and said that they would 'poke' us every day on facebook. im sure.
we left around 2:30 to go back home, unfortuneately we got lost. which we normally wouldn't do, b/c we both know how to get to and from canada like the back of our hand. however, michigan is sweet and does construction in THE WINTER, and decides to close down I94 west, meaning how in the heck are we supposed to get to Ypsi? both of us didn't know the roads in detroit, so we kinda went out of our way (alot) and found 8 mile, which i told her that it would lead us to livonia, and both of us know livonia very well. we stopped at a coney island place cause anna was starving, and it was very old school drive thru, never saw one like that before. we luckily got back to our apt a little after 4am, and went straight to bed. so sore this morning, and anna had to work at noon. and now im gunna do a ton of hw, and study for my tech quiz for tomorrow and maybe go to joanne fabrics for materials for my model of an invention. that is all
