When sleepiness takes over
What to do then? Just do nothing and let all deadlines approach ...
Grumble at my self. Took the past two days off from study related matters and I still feel tired.
I'm in such a dire need of a holiday.
Wondering about many things lately.
Shall I just postphone my thesis and take it easy the coming few weeks and have the possibility to do another course as well?
Or just write the bloody thesis and essay which is still due (yay I handed in my ME essay last week).
Or just sign up for another course or two by becoming a contract student...
Newton's new course sounds really lovely, as also does Veldhoen's.
Had a bit of an arguement with my brother about studying. He thinks I should finally find a well paid job and quit studying all together.
I kindly reminded him of the fact that he did 3 studies and should not judge me if I would perhaps do another master.
For God's sake he finished two himself.... Why can't I if I want that?
Lol some memories of the past semester I try to forget and so far I almost managed to banish any memory of Tigges course from my memory.
Just one memory came back this morning when I took the bottle of wine I got from a friend out of my bag.
A few days before the ME in a conversation with veldhoen
me: E, D and I can be a bit late. We are going to N's b'day dinner.
V: sure no problem as long as you will come.
Apparently V informed the class when we weren't there yet that 3 girls would come in late. He said something of us going to a drinking party so we would probably be very drunk.
Later we come in. V: yay there the drunks are.
Everyone starts laughing. :D
We 3: huh and just laughed along.
A week later I met Veldhoen in the department and we talked about his tradition about going to bar after the last class had ended.
I had just informed him that E and I wouldn't be there as we had to do a training for work in Amsterdam. We could be in Leiden around 10 but not when class would start. So, I mentioned sth of being able to come to Leiden after all and join the group to bar if they wanted to go.
So, after the course I went and called Deb. if they were going. Not really as there weren't much of the group interested in going.
We invited Veldhoen to join us any way as we were in need of a "drink".
In the bar we shocked him by ordering coffee and tea.... Who said I was going to drink alcohol? ;) I was just very thirsty.
Don't know where he got the idea from that I love alcohol. Hardly ever drink any..... Well.....
Well now off to sort out my sleepiness. Maybe I should make some coffee.
