I am a dancer in the dark
Well, not really as I suck at dancing so I can't really remember when the last time was I actually joined a dance floor. It must have been when I was still doing ballet.... or wait when I used to go to bar dancings 3 or 4 times a week.
But of course I am not talking about that. I am refering to this song of Bjork Dancer in the dark which was covered by the rasmus a few years ago.
This january it is ahum 9 years ago I discovered this Finnish band (their songs ffffalling & heartbreaker were on kiss.fm almost every hour so it was really hard to miss them ;) ). I dont consider myself a groupie or an overreacting screaming fan, but I really enjoy their music. It brings back some really good memories I have from living in Kokkola and Vaasa and while being in Tampere and Helsinki. As tomorrow is their fifteenth anniversary being a band I have been listening to these old tracks on youtube this morning. I dont really recommend it to do this while concentrating on an essay, but still I am in a the rasmus mood this morning. :)
Yesterday, I went to the Free Record Shop to ask them for their new cd that comes out tomorrow. http://www.therasmus.com/start.php?site=home&lang=en I was hoping they could order it for me. When I asked them about the new cd I got some strange looks. I know not everyone likes them, but I do. The Free Record Shop is not planning to order the cd any time soon, so I think I will have a look on cdon.com: http://cdon.eu/music/rasmus/best_of_2001-2009_(limited_edition)-7525934
I will now continue with listening and my essay, before I am going to the hague today (my brother and my dad are celebrating their b'days today). Oh yeah oh yeah.... Feels like the first day of my life. ;)
