This is not the only shock I survived today. I offered Banzai a choice between candied ginger and a rawhide. He always, always chooses candied ginger over any dog treat I offer. BUT NOT TODAY. He went for the rawhide. I caught three flies in my mouth, my jaw was hanging open so long.
I haven't tried to make him choose between candied ginger and watermelon yet. I think his head would asplode.
