Tonight I discovered I enjoy road construction at night. Not the kind you drive past and get annoyed with, but the kind that happens close to where you are that you can sit and listen to. Sounds of repair and accomplishment. Sounds of progress being made and things being made better. Somehow it's comforting.
I'm surprised I still have friends on here with as often as I update and for all the thoroughly uninteresting things I have to say. I guess that sort of means I'm grateful.
I need this vacation coming up. Damn. Stress level is way the fuck up there. And I've had a headache for days. Vacation will be good. Hocking Hills again in case anyone remembers that's where I went last September. I'm trying to find places to ride horses and canoe at the moment. I was hoping for a birthday digital camera to take along but I don't think that's going to happen. Which reminds me that I have to get my sticker for my license plates which I completely forgot about until just now.
With another birthday coming up I wonder if that means I'll have to make even more lists of shit I have to remember to do.
The cats said they'd make me birthday presents in the litter box. They are so good to me.
