So recently I posted about the Citronella Plants(Mosquito Terminators).
I really was all set to go buy more with this coming weeks tip money...
Always mention to your Mom what you are doing...it might just save you money.
LOL
I talked to my Mom this morning and she asked me why on earth was I buying more Citronella Plants.
I tell her so I can have a bunch on my back patio.
She laughed at me and told me to go buy pots and soil then come over to her house.
My Mom has a totally "GreenThumb" way with plants. But I never notice that she had these Citronella Plants.
Turns out that the visit was educational.
These plants can be "rooted" in dirt.
If you have a big healthy plant just break off a piece about 6inches long and plant it about 3inches deep.
Keep it watered well and it will grow roots.
My Mom tells me all this and then takes me to the back of her house to show me the 5foot Tall!! Citronella Plant that she has grown all of her other Citronella Plants from. It originally was a quart size(medium size) little potted plant that my Uncle had given her. Every time it grew she repotted it...now it's like huge size.
I guess I somehow forgot that when it comes to plants my Mom really does know her stuff.
