How I score groceries at great prices...Feeding my family for under 200$s a month

Yes...this is just a boring post about groceries.
Nothing exciting..just saving money or rather refusing to spend a ton of money.

Ok..why am I posting about food?
I hear all the time people complaining about how much groceries cost. But it seems like they could save money like I do by doing 2 simple things.
1st I seached my whole city until I found a grocery store that had great prices on meat...once I found one I started keeping an eye on the sale adds..one thing people don't know is that there is a pattern in what is on sale.. these stores will normally run certain meats one week at a low price like steaks $2.99 per lb, ribs $1.47 per lb and roasts $2.37 per lb. Then the next week they run an even better deal for boneless chicken breasts $1.77, drumsticks $.44 per lb, country style pork ribs $1 per lb. I've determined that the second is better for my family so I drive to that location and buy $100 worth of meat only. This will last us a month. So I'm only going 1 time a month so it doesn't matter that I have to drive across town for 30minutes to get there the saving is way better for me. If you don't have a car get a friend/family member/someone you know to drive you. Its only one time a month they won't mind.

2nd I found the store that sales healthy veggies and fruits for very low costs. For me believe it or not was the 99Cent Store that is not too far from my house. I be friended a lady that works there and found out when they get trucks in and when is the best time to go shop. Best deals for me are Saturday mornings at 8am(truck comes in at 5am the store opens at 8am). Produce is fresh and it's the same California suppliers that sale to the big chain grocery stores here.
Yes it's kind of a pain to get there that early in the morning but once agian great deals..i.e. today I got large bags of Salad mix 99cents each, Large bag of Coleslaw mix 99cents each(great for stirfry, coleslaw, salads etc.), large containers of Welch's grapes red and green 99cents, Organic Agave Nectar 99cents. I normally spend 10-15$s on saturday mornings for this store just depends on what they have in stock that week. I often find eggs, cheese, yogurts, juices at this store as well.
I also hit the health food store bulk bin section once a month and get beans, rice etc..
So thats how I save major money on groceries. I'm normally shocked by hearing people talk about spending 300 to 400 a month to feed the family.
Do a little leg work and you can eat great food without busting your budget.
It's almost become a game for me to see just how great of a deal I can get.
Funny that everyone used to make fun of me when I started doing this and now they call me on friday nights to see if I'll grab good deals for them or to ask me if I can pick up 20 or 30$s in meat for them the next time I meat shop.
