Birthday

So my birthday was yesterday....spent the entire weekend celebrating. It was definitely a great birthday. The family all went out to Fleming's on Friday night. Did in a bottle of wine and ate way too much food. Saturday, Ross' family came into town and we had a miniature birthday party. We went out for Indian food and they brought me a cake and flowers. Sunday my mom cooked my favorite meal that she does. Then on my actual birthday, Ross took me out to the Melting Pot (my absolute favorite place!) Yes, my birthday involved a lot of eating. What else would you expect from me? Jim took me out to The Chimes for a birthday lunch and then Katy showed up with 72 cupcakes for our legal traditions class. When I walked in, everyone yelled a big Happy Birthday and it was rather embarassing. But it was pretty awesome. Katy is the awesomest! Ross got me a digital camera, but it won't be in for another week or so. I'm pretty excited about that. He even got me an extra memory card, so I'll be taking pictures everywhere. I also got about 50 birthday messages and changes on my facebook wall yesterday. All in all, it was a great birthday (other than that whole having to go to school thing.)

On another front, Amber and I talked out a few issues the other night. It was fairly therapeutic discussion I suppose, besides the fact that it was at 3:00 in the morning. But we hashed through some of the shit we had said to eachother, and are going to continue working on those things. We both said some really ugly things, and while there was some truth to what we said, most was said in anger. Bottom line, we are going to attempt working things out.

We only have 4.5 weeks of school left. How scary of a thought is that? We have two weeks worth of exams that begin after that, but for now, all I can think of is how close we are getting to exams. Oh well. Got a bit more studying to do, but so far, I feel pretty good about things. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Can we have a capital N for neurotic? You're the type that wouldn't blink before nixing a dream date over a bad hair day or a nasty zit. But even if you are slightly self-absorbed, you have your strengths too. You have a true gift for redecorating, for instance. Unfortunately, you're the one who may need a little makeover. At least with your flamboyant fashion, you'll never be lost in a crowd, and you hold the crown as bargain shopping queen. And even if you tend to date the sexy bad boys, you still have two good men in your corner at all times: Ben & Jerry.
Which character are you?
