Yo. Ok, so I’ve dropped off the face of the planet for the last two or so days. To be perfectly honest, it’s not as if a lot happened. I got sick Wednesday only to recover from whatever it was Thursday morning and go right into those wonderful menstrual symptoms. So, either I wasn’t feeling good, or I just wasn’t feeling like being talkative. Either way, no show.
So, Wednesday was a bummer. The only good thing to happen that night was CSI: NY, and I honestly didn’t watch it when it came on ‘cause it was taping. I told Mom she’d be going to church by herself because I wasn’t feeling well. She had a migraine and I tried to talk her into staying home, but no she had to go. Well, if she wants to go somewhere and torture herself for an hour not getting anything out of whatever it is the preacher’s saying, that’s none of my concern. So, she told me to make sure and dry the towels and fold them. While I had the towels drying I decided to make some tea, and while that was brewing, I checked my temperature. I felt terrible, my head was aching, I was sore and stiff all over, getting cold chills, and I was getting light-headed so I figured checking temperature would be a good thing. I kept reading 100.9. So, I finished making the tea and folded the towels and waited for her to come home. She was miserable, had a terrible migraine and felt terrible so she decided to leave. I told her I was running a fever...I think she got a little worried...but she was so miserable herself; all we really did was just go to bed.
The next day, I was feeling better but she wasn’t. Ever since she had the Hepatitis her immune system has been nonexistent. In fact, she’s still feeling terrible. But anyway, where was I? Oh yes, Thursday. Got up, got dressed, guzzied up, went out and handed out more job resumes. This time at the Urgent Care place (heard they were needing a clerical person) and State Farm. State Farm is always hiring. I then came home and Mom and I watched CSI: NY. It was great. Then we got ready for Survivor, CSI and Without a Trace. We watched the first two enthralled, and went to bed early. This week has been an absolutely rockin’ week for CSI. Not just the original but the other two as well have just been absolutely captivating. Survivor was ok too, I guess. I so wanted them to vote Jamie off, but he had to go and win the immunity necklace. I’m just glad Gary didn’t bite the dust. That was very smart of him figuring out that Judd had been lying to them when he told them the individual immunity statue was hidden on the ground somewhere. The thing was in a tree, and Judd had the clue that said the thing wasn’t on the ground or buried, and he told everyone it was on the ground. Then Garry notices Judd looking up for the idol...and put 2 and 2 together. Way to go, Gary! Score 1 for the sleazy quarterback who’s fooling everyone that he isn’t a quarterback...I never really paid much attention to Garry, or Dani, or Brandon, but once they merged and the bigger tribe was like “It’s 6 against 4! What!” I just started to root for them. Now that I think about it, I really do like Dani. She was awfully nice to the other tribe on her birthday, inviting them over for a pool party and chocolate and all. But anyway.
Also, Thursday I got a call from Mr. D from Hancocks. Turns out I had 2 checks over there that I didn’t know about. So, I hauled my little tuckas over there to pick them up. One for $123 and another for $96. I was pretty happy about that. You see, before he called me, I had been looking around on eBay. Not really for anything in particular, but you know, just looking around. So, I came across a cheap box set of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars on DVD. So I was so wanting to buy it, but I wasn’t sure if I should. But I did anyway. Then, he calls and is like “You’ve got money over here you haven’t collected!” and I’m all like, “Be right over.” So that’s great.
Today has been...not much of anything. I tried to go to the bank, forgetting completely that it’s Veterans Day...none of them were open of course. The only thing I have to look forward to is Threshold tonight. And that might, probably, maybe, could be canceled...but we’re not sure. Last week they said they’d have a new episode, but everyone on
threshold_cbs has been arguing about it...something about Threshold switching it’s slot to Tuesdays, but no one knowing if that’s this week or not.../sigh. Oh well. We’ll see.
Mom’s calling me to go watch Super Nanny with her. It never amazes me how stupid people are when it comes to their own offspring. Irresponsible, tree-hugging, hippie crap. Oh well. I shall post later if Threshold is good or no. Later.
