yea so i starting writing this entry months ago:
well mostly class, clients, assistantship, party city, reading, studying, oh yeah, sleeping and eating. we have snuck some fun things in there such as going to ATL at the end of january for the honda battle of the bands. we checked out the world of coca-cola and the atlanta cyclorama . at world of coca-cola there was a room where you could taste a lot of products from other countries. some were okay and some were gross but all of them mixed together in my stomach was not fun. on the way back to greensboro we stopped at Stone Mountain . it was pretty cool, it felt like we were on the moon.
So I gave the quick version of the ATL trip before. Here’s a little more detail, at least what I can remember.
World of Coca-Cola
These coke bottle sculptures were cool.
I miss Surge!
Curtis was excited about this one
My new camera is awesome!
Honda Battle of the Bands
This is one of my favorite pictures from the battle. We were sitting over one of the tunnels and it was covered with a big sign but I could stick my viewfinder and take pictures down there.
Our real view
I got to see another Just Blue 3! member, yay Tricia!
My camera zoom is so awesome it looks like I’m on the field
Atlanta at night
So the first time I put this picture in photobucket someone decided it violated the terms of service…I’m not really sure why since it’s a picture of a piece of art on the street
Stuff from Olympic park
A train at the Atlanta Cyclorama
Stone Mountain
This is the “Bubble Man,” seriously, I think his truck said NC Bubble Man or something. He was there to entertain us during our long wait for the cable car to the top of the mountain. Yea, we waited for like 5 minutes maybe.
The view out the cable car window
It was like being on the moon
Baltimore carving
It was a really clear day because you could see Atlanta off in the distance
Told you it’s like the moon
Trees do grow in rock!
The carving from afar
My camera’s awesomeness once again, it’s like I scaled up the side of the mountain
A cool bird in another part of the park
They had a mill there as well and a little exhibit about quarrying but there wasn’t much interesting to take pictures of
