i'm sorry i can't pull a size 10 out of my ass!
it was crazy in famous footwear today. it's back to school season down here in tampa. there was this one group of people who are the ones that dont even bother looking for the size of shoe they need. like they are standing right in front of the particular shoes they want and are like "do you have a nine?" and then they expect you to unwrap the shoe and place it on the floor and then get them a 9.5 and then a 10. and then they get pissed if you dont have a ten, when it probably wouldnt have fit anyway. the one lady kept saying "SHE doesnt have a ten! I'd buy a ten but SHE doesnt have one!" and right in front of me too. like i'm personally responsible for the fact that we dont have that particular shoe in a size ten. and she had to keep asking me ten times what size she had on her feet. but there was one good thing. he daughter was looking for a particular shoe and the woman goes, "have HER get you a size 10." and the girl was like, "i can look for it myself."
so i walked into famous footwear today and mr. boston fan (mike) was like, "dont talk to me about the orioles, i dont want to hear about the orioles." and at first i had no idea what he was talking about and wasnt planning on bringing up the orioles. but then i was like, "oh, you mean how they beat the crap out of the red sox and got an in the park home run?" so he walked away. and later i walked up to him and said, "so if i cant talk about the orioles...can i talk about the yankees?" lol.
and i forgot to mention this lovely car accident that happened on our way home from the orioles game. so we were coming up to this intersection and it was jammed. our light was red. the light for the other street (going perpendicular to us) was just turning yellow. this humongous truck decides to pull partway into the intersection and then stop. so the people going our way have to drive around the truck. so then our light turns red and there are cars blocking the intersection. so what does the truck do? just starts driving and runs right into the little convertible that was stopped right in front of it. and it was one of those trucks with the teeth on the grill. lol.
