I was really moved by the election. And I welcome the health care/medicare/socialized reform and the practical approach the admin is taking. My friends I was with this weekend attended inauguration as a Latin American-Caucasian family who supports causes both personally and professionally (ie: he works for feds re: Latin American issues, they were invited to inauguration!) and of course, were excited about the new administration and it's diversity (African American-Caucasian, to be specific and put a finer point than the First Black President). Our president is smart and has a lot of self control. And just right for the job.
But, he is starting to get sucked into the politics of a lame ass two party system. Isn't his recent Alaskan Oil Drilling plan something we were suppose to blame Bush for? And, dare I say, has Sarah Palin commented on this apparent collaboration?
