Disgusted beyond belief
I tuned into Air America, just because I felt like hearing what the MEOW factor had to say about the latest. Maybe I wanted to tortue myself on my lonely shopping trip?
Ed Schultz? Who is this guy? He has a very articulate caller call in and ask that Ed Schultz and John Kerry and other dipshits in with recent soundbites refrain from the catty personal insults, the Mary Kay references and other varied empty, driveby insults against the new GOP ticket; to focus on the policy instead, and encourage productive debate in that regard. Instead of LISTENING to this rational caller, Ed goes on to say how he is not going to back down on insulting her, interrupts caller by spewing out sexist insults re: Palin and her pregnant daughter and condescendengly puts this more sane person in place, you know, by not letting him get a word in edgewise and then hanging up on him.
Ever since I was a child, I've heard of new and inventive initiatives to save education, healtcare, social security, etc...and it's clearly not going to happen in my lifetime.
It doesn't do me any good to support the Dems. I know Democrats like the Air America retards like to bill themselves as the "kinder, more humanitarian" voice but in doing so, they are simply clinging to an less contemporary identity, perhaps something that was relevant during simpler times? Nowadays, those at the pulpit subvert issues, launch ad hominem attacks, and hamper the way to sound policy...which really does not support constituents. Dems, why u so angry? A litte more clear thinking is in order, really, which may even result in a little depth for the self described "elite and educated" crowd.
Thank God for Russ Feingold, a sane voice in the midst of the crazy. He worked with McCain on bipartisan policy that was full of win.
As a woman and someone who cares deeply about the bankruptcy inducing clusterfuck educational policy, I am seriously offended by the left, time and again. Every election since Clinton. And, I don't even care about social security...I am not counting on one red cent from my contributions there.
