weekend happiness!
Jason and I made it out of the house yesterday and down to the local Ren Festival .... it was a good time .. too much money spent on cider and mead, but at least we remember everything. Jason was more interested in the shops than the entertainment - and vice versa for me so we spit up for part of the day to do our own thing. I was really impressed at how family friendly the place is - a little fun for everyone. And the rides were primative but fun for the kids. I enjoyed the people watchin' as much as anything. Depending on what next summer brings we are considering getting season passes and spending more time there. Jason has even declared he wants to make his own outfit .... I'm a little scared by this idea. ;) Not to mention he has mentioned one too many times wanting me in a saucy wench outfit ....um, no thank you. *hahahaha*
Today has been fall bath time for the doggies - 80 degree weather in October just screams of cleaning house, eh?!? Per our usual - we got out a 1/3 of our list done and pooped out. The dogs are all clean though, the new bedding, and their room all vacummed up.
The best part is ..... I have tomorrow off too! Down side I scheduled medical testing I'm not looking forward too ....
Off to read ....probably should have gone scooter it is so nice outside, but we have a big ride planned next weekend so I will get out then.
