Once upon a time, Angela woke up and saw Jack Nicholson in the curtains.
Today, on the ride home from school, Angela was stuck at a red light. A looooooooong red light.
And looking up into the swirling pre-storm clouds, she saw....
FRANK.
As in the giant bunny from Donnie Darko.
And as she contemplated the giant clouds of a demented bunny head,
they started swirling,
and forming a portal,
right through Frank's nose.
And in that moment, all of the tiredness of her day of chasing two year olds around for hours and negotiating class scheduling and spending two and a half hours hunched over a drawing of the bottom of a Converse shoe, all of it was sucked away off into those clouds.
Until the cars behind her honked at her because the light had turned green.
