Standing Still
I said I was going to post more...
I can't sleep. I just can't sleep.
my work schedule has changed a lot.
I work about 60% days now. But my days off are really wacky. I get one week off a month with one or 2 days off at a time the rest of the month. It's hard but it's worth it so far. We have been pretty busy so who knows how long my schedule will remain what it is.
The gardens are mostly done. I have to go get more impatiens. I need filler flowers for the back beds.
I have 3 dahlias that just plain didn't grow, I think they were the really cool ones too... boo.
My "tea garden" is doing well, I just have to cut and dry the herbs to make my own tea. I am REALLY looking forward to that.
I got some more irises in the back, we shall see if those get stolen too.... really who steals someone's flowers? Fuckhead.
I lost 2 Hostas- I am mildly amazed that I had 2 hostas not make it through the winter. I thought it was relatively hard to kill a hosta, one was a super hybrid plant the other was just a hosta - nothing fancy. Colour my baffled
I still really miss Putty. I hear him in the basement - the bathroom specifically - I can hear him meow when I am down there. Reflexively I have gone to the bathroom I have gone to the door and opened it - half expecting him to be locked in there. I don't know what I was thinking. I just miss him. Sucks.
My new tattoo looks really good, I still have to get my pawprint photos in and get my shoulder piece planned out.
Now I'm tired.
