It's okay. It's predators... What do you expect? It has some interesting characters, but any number of plot holes. Personally, my favorite is still the first AVP.

It's kind of a legal action drama thing. It was all right, but didn't feel really tight. I think the whole story has been done a lot better by the TV series "Damages", which came along later.

Hilarious! It's been a while since a movie's had us laughing out loud in the theater. And of course, the cast is stellar. It'll be a good one to add to the DVD collection.

And we went to IHOP for pancakes afterward. XD

This was an interesting film. Though, really, it's not a movie, but more of a long TV episode. It flashes back to the voyage of the Pegasus from before the Cylon attack and ends with a mission that Pegasus was involved in. Bellevue is the area across the lake from Seattle that's probably the second most developed town around here. It's certainly the only area with high rises that go 20-30 stories. It's about 10-15 miles away, but it's got the best theater (biggest stadium seating theaters), so we almost always go there for movies. The core attraction of Bellevue ( Read more... )

This was an interesting film. The pacing was good, the characters were engaging, and there were some moments of real cinematic beauty. The plot itself was intriguing, but very, very pessimistic of our world in America. And ultimately, the end was dissatisfying, though in a way, probably consistent with this pessimistic outlook. This one wasn't as hectic as the second one and had a more settled pace to it. Maybe a tad too settled, it almost felt like it was winding down, which it was, really.
