My 10 a.m. english class was canceled this morning. Great, right? Well yeah, I just wish the instructor would utilize e-mail to inform us all. So I can sleep late, right? Actually, I was at the tire repair shop at 8:30 a.m., and I would not have had to drag Tom from his slumber to pick me up for the class I didn't have. I probably sound angry, but I'm not really.
The Memphis Zoo on Saturday was rather enjoyable, despite my I-hate-the-zoo facade. I mean, I really hate cats, I refuse to see the primates after the Chicago incident, and elephants just don't really thrill me. Now, what is fun is posting pictures of all the animals and tagging them to different people. The zoo is much more fun when you're older.
I'm in a very odd, trying-to-be-careful position - this is the only time I ever really worry, and it's all for naught I'm sure. Classes are going well. Other than the pathetic essay I turned in Friday, it's relatively easy. I hate wishing the days away, so I'll just state that I'm looking forward to August. It's not that classes are hurting or anything. I'm just looking for that trip home. I almost wish I would have gone home for the entire summer. There's something to be said for doing that.
We (as in everyone) got a letter from Peter this weekend. He sent it on his first day, but he said everything was going well so far.
I need to get new tires.
I'm hungry.
I rest my case.
