My aunt Mariah has written a book which, of course, I encourage you all to read. Mariah Fenton Gladis has been living for nearly 30 years with ALS, also known as Lou Gherig's disease. My step-grandmother, Inez Cassinari, passed away on Saturday. She was a sweet, funny lady who'll be greatly missed by all who knew her....

And there was a photo-article Somewhere (I can't find the link) of Dubya visiting veterans of the current conflict, presumably in honor of Veterans' Day.
