Just felt a tiny earthquake. What's weird is that the epicenter is way the hell up in Aomori Iwate. So far away that it took about three minutes for the seismic wave to get down here..... Either that, or there was a coincidental quake around here somewhere ( Read more... )

So while I was off at my CELTA class, it turns out there was a very large earthquake up north. Weighing in at 7.2, it's a little weaker than the Kobe quake and quite weaker than the Szechuan quake, which was a 7.8.
