Cleaning Week
I’ve been offline for most of this week, so even though it’s a little late, I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I’d also like to wish Jason a Happy Birthday!
My mother had this whole last week off, so we cleaned the house like mad all week. We are doing some home repairs and just cleaning stuff up. The house hasn’t been clean in like 2 years (meaning junk laying around, not cleaned). The garage is being painted, cleaned, and storage units put up. It’s taking 10 gallons of paint to give you some idea. My dad is getting rid of our storage unit by the end of this month (1 and ½ days remain), so we need to get all that stuff out and find places for everything. I dusted (20 years of cobwebs on our vaulted ceiling) and cleaned the carpets in the living room and dinning room (it takes so long but need it). All in all, the living room and dinning room look nicer then they have in years. We also got all the Christmas stuff put up (minus the outdoor lights).
Mom wants a new couch for Christmas, so it looks like we will be getting one (err set). I still need to do Christmas shopping which isn’t going to well, sigh.
