LOL You know, I hardly listen to anything except jazz and classical these days. I like "classic rock" i.e. 70's, 80's and 90's. But since the turn of the century, popular music seems to have gotten so formulaic and boring. It seems you don't need any talent anymore in order to be successful in that industry, and that's a shame.

Bring back Led Zeppelin, Queen, RUSH, The Who and Pink Floyd, I say!! And how about Bob Seger, Alan Parsons Project and Steely Dan? David Wilcox, anyone? :D

I was raised with my mom listening to classic rock so I'm with you there girl! I loved Queen, The Who, Alan Parsons Led Zeppelin and Rush. I also really liked ACDC, Eric Clapton and David Bowie and I still do to this day. And I agree, since the turn of the century it all sounds the same. There are a few exceptions but damn I miss the 90s!
