There are snails here.  They get flooded out when it rains. 
There are always zillions of them outside at work after the rain.

There's Extra fluffy snow falling.  The weatherman told us that usually they say that for every inch of water you get ten inches of snow.  This stuff is 1:25.  It's so fluffy and doesn't stick together.
