Want to puke!
Over my parents house right now. My brother is changing my oil, so I decided to go online to kill time until they serve dinner. Crappy AOL and dial-up! UGH. They won't get cable hooked up for a while.
The house is really nice. I have always thought so, but I still retain my negative attitude of them building a big house out here is PRES-TEE-GUS Shelby Twp. Ooh-la-frickin'-la.
Their friends John and Chris just came over for dinner. It's their first time in the finished house. They are oohing and ahhing all over the place. I think I am gonna hurl.
I got a lot of photos of the place with the digital before dark hit. The outside looks almost the same as it was in July when I was here last, but now the inside's finished. They still have to carpet the bonus room and do something with the stairs to the basement. Grass and landscaping will come in the spring. I can't believe the builder screwed up one of the front windows! The right side doesn't close and the left side isn't even the same window! There are a few door walls that don't fit the doors either.
I wish I would have gotten here earlier in the daylight so I could take photos of some of the crazy ritzy homes in this hood and the multi-million-dollar homes in the sub next to this one. Talk about make you sick... nobody should be living in a house like some of these. Blecch.
