It's almost 2 AM, Saturday morning and we're STILL here at work, about 15 of us. T'is the season for making the holiday advertising! It's a harrowing time of year. OMG. At 4 PM or so Friday, they want us to get out the 1125's and 1126's because the client decided to change things. Some higher-up creatives are here, and they are going over everything with a fine-toothed comb, because the client's on our backs about every little period and comma. Some of it is just aggravating. Of course, because of the late hour, everyone's messing up mutiple, including me and JABBO. Our eyes are falling out.
I wanted to get out of work about on time, because I still have to hit Meijer on the way home to pick up some food for the scrapbooking party that is gonna be in, oh... 10 hours as of now. I wanted to bake some cookies and clean some of the house, but God knows if I can make it tonight. I'll have to cut some corners tonight and catch a few hours of sleep before the crew comes bounding in... uggggh.
I think the last page is coming in FINALLY. The only good thing about this is time and a half overtime... and one whole extra shift of it. YES. It's here where getting paid hourly rocks. I guess God has a way of taking care of ya when you need a good thing to happen to ya... help me pay off some debt. =)
Happy Sweetest Day, BTW, to those of you who care. I think it's just a Hallmark holiday and don't make a deal of it. Hell, I don't make a deal of any holiday like some chicks do... demanding to be taken out and flowers and the whole bit. Suck it up, prissy materialistic beeeyotches!
Going home now... finally. Byeeeeeeeeee...
