Humor Me a Little While Longer

Hyukjae had this habit of going out to eat in order to avoid things. He knew all of this little stalls and stores that had, what he claimed to be, the best of whatever popped into his head at the exact moment that someone was about to tell him something important. Then, when they finally made it to whatever spot Hyukjae had chosen, Hyukjae was too busy stuffing his face that the topic would just drop. It was a sixth sense and talent that Hyukjae had just developed, in order to - he admitted- childishly delay the inevitable. He just hated it when he cried.
That's how when he and Jungsu had finally finished Sukira and Jungsu had turned to his fellow dj, Hyukjae had immediately groaned about how much he wanted a strawberry milkshake before the elder could even open his mouth. So, at one in the morning, the two stood with their faces covered in a vain attempt to avoid recognition, waiting for Hyukjae's milkshake to be made. A few fans took photos as Hyukjae smiled kindly at the clerk who handed him his shake.
"Ah," Hyukjae exclaimed after he took a couple of big, healthy gulps of his milkshake. "Refreshing. I should be in a cf for milkshakes, shouldn't I, hyung?"
Jungsu chuckled. "I don't think they can afford you," he replied and his own smile grew as he saw Hyukjae's lips curve upwards to show his white teeth and pink gums. But before Jungsu could say about how his smile would the one he would miss the most, Hyukjae was already walking down the street, commenting on the window displays.
"Hyukjae," Jungsu called out. Hyukjae froze, and as Jungsu stared at the rapper's rigid back, tense and scared at what was to come, he realized that he couldn't do it. At least, not yet. "Are you going to finish that?" he finished softly, slowly walking up next to Hyukjae.
The younger man turned slightly as he waited for Jungsu to stand next to him. "No, you can have it, hyung," Hyukjae said, handing over the barely touched milkshake. "I'm not that hungry."
