Well, I am here safely in the Netherlands.  I arrived on Saturday morning and am staying with my friends in their rented house in Eindhoven.  I went to the market with Femke on Saturday afternoon, shopping for traditional Dutch food, and I rode an old Dutch bicycle there and back.  They have no brakes on the handlebars but you have to back-pedal to ( Read more... )

Wa-hey!  I just booked RyanAir flights online to Eindhove in the Netherlands for my week off in January.  The flights were so ridiculously cheap that I've treated myself to a hotel-and-parking deal at the Stansted Hilton!!  It means I have to get up very early in the morning for the outgoing flight, which might be hard if I have to work on the ( Read more... )
