The thing with "Chosen" is that...no one had to die. It was a controlled situation. They purposely opened the Hellmouth, and went down there not only before Willow's spell took effect, but not even 100% sure it would work. And then there's the part where they dragged all of the other potentials around the world into it...And honestly, they could have just dropped a bomb down there and had next to zero casualties.
The Aftermath for Angel, however, was assumed to be specific to his team, which is something they all voted on anyway. Assuming that was how it happened (and in the show, that's how it's portrayed), then their choice trumps Chosen's lack of choice for all the girls around the world. In my opinion, of course ;) I just have problems with the lack of consent issues in the conclusion of BtVS.
The "one time," I always fancied to be in 1894 with the whole Immortal debacle. If you think it was just Angel and Spike, I'd be curious to know when in s5 you thought that happened ;) Color me intrigued.
