The long story: We were working with David, and all was well...then he emailed us our first set of potential listings. They didn't match anything that we had thought we communicated to him...we told him and mentioned the specifics...rather than try again...he just gave up and said (in a nut shell) "find your own listings that you like and do so fast because we have to go out this weekend."
Well, we certainly didn't have to go out that weekend (if there's nothing on the market that we want to look at...we aren't going) AND he didn't even bother to reccomend sites or ways that we could find our own listings...so that just ruined it for us. We tried all that evening to brainstorm on a way that we could get back on the same page with David, and continue to trust our working relationship...but we couldn't. That interaction just felt all kinds of wrong for us.
So we started again...with Tim! Tim's been great so far, and I think he's reaping the benefits of some of David's work with us. After we stopped using David, we really realized how important our communication with an agent is. There was no more indecision. We knew what we wanted and how we wanted to say it. So Tim has had the benefit of a clean slate and some better prepared buyers.
