Vanderbolt and I are on the hunt for a new house. On our first outing we found a home that we are going to put an offer in on. Of course, it will take a bit to get the offer in (viewed it on Tuesday...will place the offer early on Friday). The listing agent knows that we plan to place our offer tomorrow and has agreed to let us know if the sellers accept a different offer prior to receiving ours.
Our real estate agent, Tim is awesome. We started the process with a different agent and ultimately figured out that he wasn't for us, but helped us figure out what page we needed to be on...so I wish him no ill at all. I am thrilled however at this point with Tim. If you are looking for a home and want his info, let me know.
We're bidding out different fiancing plans right now. It's stressful and hard. My folks have been very supportive in the process, and they might even co-sign because one of the loan options offers a cheaper point buy-down plan for teachers (both my folks are teachers). If we enjoy our lendor experience completely...we'll let you know and gladly pass on more info.
We're also trying to make sure taxes are done on time (got them to the CPA months ago...so the rest is up to him) and finalizing our financial savings plan (for now) in the next few weeks.
Lots going on for us. Just thought you should know.
OH PS. if you happen to know a business or person that would like to support or attend a Seattle Youth Garden Works auction (ticket price is $75/seat, donations of auction items are happily accepted and offer you a great way to advertise a youth and environmentally friendly product or company)...please contact me.
