I have had back to back stressful weeks at work. Thursday and Friday I was walking around with a pronounced limp because my sciatica was so bad. Several things cause my sciatica to flare up - not enough water, too much sitting, heels, stress. Anyway - these kind of all came together and so today, after much working up to it, we decided to go for a berry picking walk.
I'll also note that my husband purchased a used PS3 game for me so that I could take out some stress in the video game and then proceeded to make lots of time for me to be able to play it last night and this AM. He's a keeper!
So we managed to leave the house around 2pm or so. We drove over to a trail near my hubby's work where he said there were lots of berries. He was right - we picked 4 containers of them and that will be enough for pies and crumbles, etc.
I limped along. I just kept going and going...until...almost magically...my leg started to feel better.
Then we went to Costco. And then we came home and didn't do much else.
It was just nice to spend the day with my family relaxing and chilling and hanging out with our baby. Yes there are dozens of chores to do but at least now I feel less stressed out about them all.
