I have a cat dog

I altered feeding time for the cats. This has done 2 things. 1) Kept the cats from clawing my head as I wake from sleep. 2) Afforded them time in the bathroom with me in the AM to consider and then execute poopoo and peepee on the citykitty where I can right away clean up and keep things tidy!

So this is good for keeping my eyes and for training the cats to use the toilet.

But today (and as from vanderbolt's tweets, yesteday) the new routine includes time in bed playing fetch with Toby. Toby has a blue ball. It's round, fuzzy, crinkly, and just a little bit squishy-bouncy. It also has a tail. It is, next to Beau, Toby's best friend in the whole wide world. He loves (especially when we are in bed) to play fetch with Blue Ball. Pink Ball (a near twin, except pink) is an OK sub, but Blue Ball is his fave.

Fetch involves:
-bringing a human Blue Ball by placing Blue Ball near human heads in the bed, or feet on the floor.
-Having a human fling Blue Ball as far as possible off the bed or from the spot they are in on the floor.
-Shooting your little cat body like a rocket in the direction of the aforementioned flung Blue Ball so that your little back legs slide past your head as your wee little kitten mouth clamps down on Blue Ball.
-Dashing back in a proud saunter to a human.
-Repeat for at least 8 takes. Sometimes more than 14.
