Snow! and other thoughts
Snow today, started falling on the way in. Was already deep enough in Seattle to warrent a 2 hour delay on schools opening. So basically we had a pretty nice dusting. But the funny thing is that I had drempt that we had a snow day. I'm clarvoiant or something like that!
Today work is very cold. Distractingly cold in fact. I've had coffee and hot cocoa, turned up the heat on all thermostats and am still finding it impossible to concentrate because my feet are freezing. :( I would blame the snow, but I doubt it. Seems like the heat was just off all weekend.
Cats: the toilet training has reached a complete reset. We mostly abandoned our efforts late last week, but after the last time cleaning up cat pee this weekend we gave the boys a litter box on the floor. The new Citi Kitty training unit should arrive this week and we'll get back on track. Going more quickly through the first steps, but after 2 or three rings we will begin to cut them out 1/4 at a time. Mix that with lots of praise, cat nip and treats...and hopefully we'll have toilet trained cats in 2-4 months!
